Yellow Alert Advisory
The Maldives Meteorological Services has forecast strong winds and torrential rain with heavy thunderstorms and guts of 45 mph expected to southern Atolls from 30th August 21.40 to 31st August 00.40 hrs. The islands of southern Atoll should immediately take preparedness actions to minimize losses caused by a possible flooding event.
